Travel Crafter’s expertise in creating custom journeys isn’t just limited to leisure travel – in fact Travel Crafter also designs and manages meeting and incentive travel. The American Council of Engineering Companies/ Louisiana chapter called on Travel Crafter to design study tours/technical visits for its engineer members to international engineering projects. Venice’s MOSE flood barrier, the Gotthard Base Tunnel in Switzerland, the Maeslant Storm Barrier in Hoek van Holland, and London’s Crossrail and Battersea Power Station are examples of trips where Travel Crafter identified and secured leading engineers, scientists, water management experts, etc., to meet with the group on location for their technical visits. Members also journeyed to Panama for a visit to the Panama Canal construction site with the chief engineer in charge of the project to widen the canal.
